Last weekend I made pillow cases to match a quilt I made for my bed several years ago. Why it has taken me this long to make them is a mystery! I used a great tutorial from Twiddletails. This pattern hides all the seams so the pillowcases have a very professional finish.
I fell in love with Chocolat by 3 Sisters for Moda about 5 years ago…maybe longer. When I could afford it, I bought as much as I could find. I made a quilt for my bed, a couple of pillowcases, valences for my bedroom, two more small quilts and I can’t remember what else. I still have fabric left and decided to make another set of pillowcases.
If you have some Christmas fabric yardage, these would be a great gift. The body of the pillowcase takes 27″ of fabric and the cuff uses 12″. If you do a little contrast piece, that’s just a measily 2.5″ (all cut WOF).
Make some! Let me see!!
